Last week, I was asked to contribute to the Trusted Coach Directory blog. The Directory is a way of sourcing accredited and experienced coaches, and I’m happy to be a registered member.
Thinking of what may be most topical right now, the Conoravirus pandemic sprung immediately to mind, But as I’m neither a physician or an epidemiologist, I focused on what I know: how we think and feel.
The plethora of bad news, the disruptive lockdowns, the family illnesses – all can contribute to anxious thoughts and feelings, which are rarely a pleasant experience!
So I gathered a few suggestions for how to healthily deal with the anxiety that this situation may bring, all based on the concept of Psychological Flexibility.
